Today, Pearl Abyss announced the official specs for the PC, Mac, and console versions of its highly anticipated upcoming action RPG, Crimson Desert.
It is important to note that performance may vary, especially for PC players, due to individual hardware and software configurations, as well as changes to graphics settings and the latest DirectX 12 update.
The console versions of Crimson Desert require a display with at least 120/240 Hz, an HDMI 2.1 cable, and VRR support. The measurements below were also taken with the power connected and Turbo Mode enabled.

For Mac players, the developers recommend using macOS 26 “Tahoe” or a later version for optimal performance and stability. When selected, the in-game preset “For this Mac” will assign the settings and resolution that provide optimal visual quality and performance on your Mac.
Crimson Desert follows a lone mercenary, Greymane Kliff, as he navigates both the stunning beauty and cutthroat dangers of Pywel. The war-torn continent is fully explorable, allowing players to complete quests, defeat dangerous enemies, and unlock powerful items in the hopes of finding fame and glory.
After a devastating ambush, Kliff is left dead by his sworn enemies, with other members of his team scattered across the continent. Determined to reunite with his friends, he embarks on a journey where alliances are forged, dangers abound, and mysterious factions are uncovered, culminating in an unprecedented threat and a destiny greater than he imagined.
Crimson Desert is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Apple Mac on March 19, 2025.
